The only Regis I have ever known was Regis Mosseron who was WWS manager for a short time before The Greek.
ReplyDeleteA very likeable chap who possessed the refreshingly unusual attribute of treating the WWS cast with good humour and respect.
In fact, Regis was senior manager right after 'the greek' Yannis Koytagias. Likeable fellah yes but more much difficult to pin down on issues at the WWS. I was under him as small world manager at BBWWS for I believe 6 months.
ReplyDeleteJust to be clear, this is NOT as far as I know a video of any Regis connected to Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show or probably even the Disney company worldwide. It's just a guy who happens to be named Regis and who is not nearly as good a skier as he apparently thought. I didn't mean for this post to turn into a discussion about the qualities of Wild West Show managers. I think they're all generally good people trying their damnedest to do a very difficult and largely thankless job, balancing the demands of their superiors with the demands of the cast and crew. I'd like to steer away from discussing the personal and/or professional qualities of Disney managers on this blog. Thanks for the comments!
